Frequently Asked Questions

How do I apply for a campership for my son/daughter/etc?
Check out our Apply for a Campership! page to stay informed about application timelines and deadlines. We will post a link to the application when it is available. If you have additional questions about applying for a campership, or would like to receive an email when the application is available, please email us at camperships@ehcf.org.
My child visited Echo Hill Outdoor School with his class this school year and loved it, so I’d like to send him to Echo Hill Camp so he can have more of the same experience
We’re glad your child had a great experience at Echo Hill Outdoor School and encourage you to submit a campership application. We do want to note, however, that though associated, Echo Hill Camp and Echo Hill Outdoor School are different experiences for the children that attend. Please visit echohillcamp.com to learn more about the summer camp before submitting an application.
Can you tell me how the scholarship program works?

Our application opens in December for the upcoming summer. Guardians submit an application, including proof of income and a signed (by child and guardian) acknowledgement of our alcohol/drug policy for their child online, by email, or mail, and additionally provide names of references/letters of recommendation. For new campers, camperships fund a 2-week session at Echo Hill Camp; returning campers may choose to apply for either a 2-week or a 4-week session. The campership covers the entire tuition for camp. A selection committee reviews the applications and decides to whom to grant camperships. Echo Hill will then work with the guardian to determine the session the child will attend.
